Calling all dedicated antifascists!
Zaterdag 18 mei 2019 – 10:30, Grote Broek
Van Broeckhuysenstraat 46, Nijmegen
Whether you are a new or experienced activist, the last few years have been challenging to those engaged in the fight against authoritarianism in its many forms. Right-wing extremism in the Netherlands is on the rise, as can be seen especially in the recent elections. The Hannie Schaft Congres is an opportunity for activists to connect, learn and share tactics and experiences with one another. It is also a space to reflect critically on ourselves and our roles within the movement to work towards eliminating racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia that manifest in our communities. We’ll hear from those engaged in feminist, queer, anti-racist, decolonial, and anti-authoritarian struggles and learn how to strengthen our fight against the right in a way that is resilient, caring, and powerful.
During the Congress translations to English, German and Dutch will be possible through simultaneous translation with an earpiece.
Übersetzungen von die Workshops sind möglich durch gleichzeitige übersetzungen mit einen Kopfhörer.
Joining the congress is free, sign up is not neccesary.
